JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is looking for 2 SOC Analysts to support one of the largest gaming companies in the country, sitting in Cary, NC or Seattle, WA. These resources will be responsible for the following:

Perform initial incident troubleshooting, and event monitoring for all severity alerts Assist with malware detection and/or threat analysis
Help perform incident resolution and root-cause analysis
Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols
Familiarity with web related technologies (Web applications, Web Services, Service Oriented Architectures) and of network/web related protocols
Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols
Assist with writing comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes and propositions for further system security enhancement

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Previous experience working within an operations environment (3 – 4 years of experience)
Previous experience within networking, security, devops, infrastructure engineering, etc.
Strong understanding of security related topics, common issues, and architecture
Cloud experience with cloud-native monitoring and telemetry solutions such as S3, CloudWatch, GuardDuty, and CloudTrail (AWS, Azure, or GCP exposure and experience)
Familiarity with web related technologies (Web applications, Web Services, Service Oriented Architectures) and of network/web related protocols
Experience working with Splunk
Experience to network and security related technologies such as CloudStrike, ProofPoint, Wizio, or Okta
Support and maintain procedural documentation and central knowledge repositories using Confluence
