IT Systems Analysis work focuses on designing information systems that are appropriate for users’ needs and consistent with the overall design of the organization’s information systems architecture including: Collecting and analyzing information from system users to formulate the scope and objectives of the system; Preparing flow charts, models, and procedures and conducting feasibility studies to design possible system solutions; Estimating the costs of system solutions and preparing project plans to provide input into decisions about prioritizing projects and allocating IT resources; Preparing and maintaining technical documentation to guide system users and to assist with the ongoing operation, maintenance, and development of the system; Leverages agile methodology to design and configure solutions; Works closely with business to develop required training, change management and operations process; Develop use cases, customer scenarios, and/or demos, and plan and coordinate testing of the newly developed or enhanced applications and provide support; Looks for opportunities to automate business process with technology, and may provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess a Bachelor of Computer Information Systems Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience.
Required Skills
prior exposure to supply chain domain preferably in planning area
relevant SQL skills to be able to query and cook the data
familiarity with any reporting tool (BOBJ/Power BI/MSBI/Excel pivots etc..)
should be able to understand data flows from one system to the other (source to target)
can login to multiple systems and check the data in them
should be able to create data mockups by joining various data elements in excel
should know various excel popular capabilities like Pivoting and VLOOKUP for data joins
familiarity with advanced visualizations
familiarity with how security works in enterprise systems
exposure to Analytics/Big-Data/Machine Learning/Data Science concepts
knowledge of working in SAFE/ SCRUM teams
Proficiency in SAP HANA or databases like Teradata, MS SQL
Soft skills
oral and written communication skills – have to work with cross geo team members
stakeholder management – can ask relevant and crisp questions from business as well as IT teams.
