Uses predictive modeling, statistics, Machine Learning, Data Mining, and other data analysis techniques to collect, explore, and extract insights from structure and unstructured data . Develop software, algorithms and applications to apply mathematics to data, perform large scale experimentation and build data driven apps to translate data into intelligence, solve a variety of business problems and enable business strategy. Assists business with casual inferences & observations with finding patterns , relationships in data. Must possess strong understanding of internal business segment (stakeholders) and possess strong written and communication skills. Typically requires expertise in relational database structures, research methods, machine learning, Cloud based technologies, Big Data technologies (i.e. Hadoop , HBase, Lucene/Solr), analytics packages (i.e. R, Mahout, Matlab, Octave, Weka), scripting languages (i.e. Python, Perl), programing languages (i.e. Java, C/C++, SQL). Typically possesses advanced degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Machine Learning, Operation Research, and Statistics or equivalent expertise.
Qualifications
� Candidates need to hold at least a master’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science/Machine Learning/AI/Data Science � 3-5 years of relevant experience in building AI/ML models and in using Python (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/Pytorch) and SQL (or equivalent). � Experience in using data analysis techniques and ML methods like classification, regression pattern finding, clustering, dimensionality reduction, anomaly detection etc. � Experience with Hadoop, Spark is an advantage � Deep Knowledge of classical AI algorithms and Deep Learning techniques is a must. � Great analytical skills and demonstrated ability of independent and creative thinking. � Highly motivated strong team player with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. � Has strong analytical skills, including the abilities to scope out business problems to be solved, start from ambiguous problem statements, identify and access relevant data, make appropriate assumptions, perform insightful analysis and draw conclusions relevant to the business problem. � Ability to present information professionally and concisely with supporting data. � Experience in creating powerful data driven visualizations to describe ML modeling results to stakeholders.
