Technical leader – Data Science
Job Description
As Technical Lead Data Science; you will provide technical and engineering leadership, direction across all different engineering disciplines that spans across Data tools, flow, methodology, infrastructures. You will harness the power of data across vast amount of engineering resources to make best of decisions wisely and quickly.
Key responsibilities you will have:
- Provide Engineering direction and technical leadership for machine learning/Data Science Projects
- Set the long term vision and direction for engineering Tools, Infrastructure to harness the data even more e.g. large scale telemetry, logging infrastructure
- Identify opportunities for leveraging data science and machine learning for solving Intel’s engineering and customer challenges.
- Partner with engineering leaders in key partner teams to evangelize data science and machine learning practices
- Install industry leading AI/MLOps practices, tools for long term success of Data science projects
Qualifications
– Bachelor or Masters or PhD degree in Computer Science, Statistics or Machine Learning Engineering – 12+ years of hands on experience in one or more general purpose programming language – 5+ years of Hands on experience in data science, machine learning projects with solid knowledge of machine learning algorithms – Demonstrated strong combination of theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience in data science and machine learning projects – Proven good track record of successful development to deployment of data science, machine learning projects – Experience in agile development methodology and best practices in data science lifecycle management. Highly motivated, team player with an entrepreneurial spirit, strong communication and collaboration skills
