Job Location: Gurgaon/Gurugram
Responsibilities
- Understand how the WFM solutions within the area of focus can be configured and delivered to better facilitate business processes
- Partner with the business to analyze requirements, identify impact to applications and determine high-level estimates
- Assist in version upgrades by performing analysis, updating configurations, testing and reviewing documentation
- Develop functional specifications for modifications, interfaces, reports and screens that meet the business objectives and are of sound design
- Ensure smooth and efficient implementation and integration between technical and functional system requirements
- Develop frameworks, tooling, configurations and services to support the data integration, management, and connectivity of our applications across the IT systems
- Ensure proper flow of data from different data sources into WFM systems including scheduling system and labor standards system
- Develop SQL database scripts and XML transformers for integrations and interfaces
- Support system testing activities, including test setup, test case scenario definition/refinement, test execution and troubleshooting to ensure WFM software consistently meets the business objectives
- Create procedural and system documentation throughout the project and ad hoc enhancements
- Ensure knowledge transfer is conducted with key project team members
- Provide 24-hour support during a deployment “go-live” periods
- Brainstorm with the team to produce innovative ideas to improve overall application functionality and performance
- Provide primary user support and verify that the system provides the required business functions, maintains data integrity and is working as expected
- Assist in planning efforts, defining detailed tasks and effort
Required Skills
- Knowledge of a Workforce Management (WFM) system.
- Experienced with Timekeeping, Forecasting, Labor Scheduling, Absence Management, Workforce Analytics and Reporting solutions using WFM Software.
- Experienced in defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts and drawing valid conclusions
- Ability to work independently and be effective/proactive in a relatively unstructured environment
- Ability to develop and maintain strong, productive relationships with both the business and IT teams
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experienced in SQL Databases and writing queries
- Strong MFT, SFTP, XML and XSD skills
Experience & Personal Qualities:
3+ years retail business process experience, with an excellent delivery track record
3+ years of experience in Workforce Management application development/configuration
3+ years of experience with SQL and relational databases (SQL Server)
Education:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering preferred
