Overview

Intuit’s Pro Connect Tax Group (PTG) develops and brings to market the products that Accountants use to deliver value to tax clients and small businesses. This role will drive critical cross functional strategies and will partner closely with SLT and key business managers in Go-To-Market. The insights and strategies generated by this team will be instrumental in boosting customer retention, optimizing cost, increasing customer life time value. What you’ll bring

What you’ll bring to the role

  • 15+ years of quantitative analysis experience, 5+ years of people management & 2+ years of project management experience
  • Technical knowledge of SQL, Python, experimentation and Tableau…
  • Extensive experience with A/B test design, implementation and analysis
  • Strong technical acumen to guide the team in development of predictive models and work with cross functional central teams to further enhance them.
  • Strong business judgment and ability to foster innovation: He/she should be a tenacious decision maker, able to bring a healthy, aggressive, yet responsible approach to business and can role model ‘win together’ value.
  • Can partner with business team in sales and marketing to jointly own execution of segmentation, targeting, and personalization strategies
  • Prior Pricing, Sales and/or marketing experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong executive communication skills: Impeccable written and oral communication credentials, coupled with strategic influencing skills and the ability to drive agreement through intellect, interpersonal and negotiation skills

How you will lead

You will be driving data driven growth strategies, optimizing key business outcomes and developing our core analytics capabilities as a team. You will be responsible to coach a high performing team of analysts with a clear mandate to drive growth through data.


Strategic leadership:

  • Develop business strategies that will drive growth, profitability, and competitive success for PTG in the face of shifting customer and competitive landscape
  • Strong project leader who can juggle multiple projects. Display an intense focus on achieving both short and long-term goals. Be able to drive and execute an agenda in an uncertain and fluid environment
  • You are flexible and agile. You welcome ambiguity as an opportunity to give shape and scope to problems.
  • You can quickly identify the problem to solve, create a framework around it and then set it in motion. You have enough product depth to understand our customer journeys, and are “courageous” enough to challenge status quo
  • You influence senior collaborators and the business strategy by providing key insights. Drive alignment across leadership. Proactively identify, track and share business insights to inform the business direction by using both data analysis and business judgment.


Business ownership:

  • Ownership mindset with a strong willingness to take new challenges with enthusiasm. Strong ability to ‘see around the corners’ and ‘connect the dots’ with a desire to proactively drive the business and not just respond to it.
  • You don’t stop at framing up the problem and the data. You know that ideas are worth nothing without execution, so you create aggressive, yet realistic plans. You collaborate with key partners to ensure we are considering all the right inputs.
  • Lead design of new business performance leading indicators and identify relationships between business drivers. Evangelize a data-driven approach to decision making or finding innovative opportunities.


Team Leadership:

  • Lead a high performing team of 20+ data analysts, data scientists and data engineers and grow their skill and careers
  • Be able to build data products to transform customer experiences: personalized features, data predictions, propensity modeling, and etc. to make customer experiences more intelligent with data.
  • Drive step-change improvements in analytical thinking of the team and use of analytical tools (core data analysis and reporting, statistical modeling, multivariate linear and logistic regression and experimental design) for business process improvement.
  • Build targeted insights and new pricing strategies to inform and design new go to market strategies.
  • Contribute to full cycle of data, including hypothesis formulation, algorithm development, data cleansing, new table creation, insight generation/visualization, and action planning.
  • You are not afraid to dive into a data set and can tease apart MAUs, funnel metrics or churn rates equally. You can easily take strategy and insights and craft a narrative around it that brings others along for the ride.
