Job Description
Primary Function of Position:
The individual will be working in product analytics team reporting to a Managing Principal. The primary function for this role is to analyze data which exists in multiple data sources and to develop analytical models that might also include data science models. These efforts will help the organization obtain deeper insights into evolving business trends.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- The individual will leverage SQL and other data tools to explore and understand data.
- Will have apply new technologies such as Python or JavaScript frameworks under the mentorship of in-house experts.
- Apply data science and statistics understanding to real world business problems by proactively engaging with subject matter experts and business stakeholders.
- Produce actionable insights by building end-to-end ML/data science pipelines. This includes data extraction, cleansing and structuring data prior to running ML models.
Qualifications
Skills, Experience, Education, & Training:
- Minimum Current enrollment in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, or related degree-seeking program at Master’s, or Doctorate level.
- Strong skillset in data tools and technologies such as SQL and Python Pandas.
- Thorough understanding of ML/Data Science and Statistics concepts. Also, should possess ability to apply to real-world problems and to interpret derived results.
- Preferred experience in building compelling narratives that articulate business problem and intended technology solutions.
