Job Summary:
In this position, you will report to the Manager of Database Services and will primarily participate in planning, designing and implementation of architecture to support web-based projects and ETL data ingestion. The ideal candidate will have advanced skills and experience in PL/SQL development and data modeling for developing tables, packages, and stored procedures for the ILS web-enabled marketplace. You will also have experience with data loading and data scrubbing in an Oracle environment.

- Produce high quality documentation to share with other Data Engineers and Database Administrators to ensure good data governance practices.
- Diagnose and resolve database performance issues.
- Support data acquisition through web and document scraping.
- Support data analytics and reporting to shape new business opportunities and advance capabilities to drive value to customers through market intelligence.
- Discovers new opportunities and solutions for problems by looking beyond current practices and using innovative thinking.
- Demonstrates an interest in personal learning and development.
Requirements:
- 4-7+ years of experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL in a web environment. Ability to write efficient and complex Oracle SQL and PL/SQL code.
- 4-7+ years of experience with Oracle Database technologies.
- 4-7+ years of experience with data modeling.
- 2-6+ years of experience with ETL and Data loading preferably with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
- 3+ years of experience with Agile development.
- 3+ years supporting micro-service architecture.
Preferred:
- Aviation Industry Experience.
- Experience with structured and unstructured data.
- Business Intelligence and Analytics Experience.
- Linux command line and scripting.
- Coursework or Certificate in Data Science.
