What will I do as a Business Intelligence Analyst?
As a member of BI team, you will work on client deliverables while interfacing with cross-functional teams. You will be a part Operational and Commercial technical solutions. Position seeks to understand client business needs to deliver effective solutions fully. Manages and disseminates information for decision support.
What are the responsibilities of a Business Intelligence Analyst?
– Understand the objectives of commercial deliverables, further developing a granular understanding of the business requirements.
– Proficient in programming and executing code on transactional data using Microsoft SQL and build custom data models
– Ability to use data to “tell a story “by creating interactive dashboards in Power BI and UNIFY.
– Ability to reconcile data across multiple systems to the transactional level.
– Designs build, tests, deploys, executes, and maintains data extraction, transformation and load (ETL) jobs to populate databases
– Supports in development and maintenance of internal data warehouse and reporting tools.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
– Experience working with large volumes of data models, and data extraction from SQL
– Proven track record of business analysis, requirement definition, and solution delivery.
– Strong consultative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
– Ability to work independently with a strong track record of setting and meeting delivery commitments.
– Embraces teamwork & possesses the ability to work with cross-functional teams effectively
– Data Visualization experience (Power BI / SSRS) strongly preferred
– Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft BI Stack tools: SSAS SSIS, SSRS.
Requirements
– Bachelor/Master of Science in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Applied Statistics, or closely related degree.
– 2-3 years of experience working with Relational Databases, T-SQL or Postgre SQL
– Hands-on experience is working on Visualization platform like Power BI, SSRS or Tableau.
– Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
– Flexibility and a positive attitude
