Job Description:
Provide for NSW ODS data architecture and engineering support.
Job Duties:
Provide support for management of operational data stores, data marts, data lakes, and data warehouses. Work will include merging, manipulating, transforming, cleansing, and validating data, and experience in databases, data stores, data marts, data lakes and data warehouse design and operations, business systems design and engineering, report writers, ad hoc querying, online analytical processing (OLAP), data visualization, data mining, and statistical analysis, Structured Query Language (SQL), Microsoft (MS) C#.NET, MS SQL Server, MS SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), MS SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), MS ASP.NET, MS Internet Information Server (IIS), HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, application life cycle management, MS Visual Studio and Team Foundation Services (TFS), Microsoft SQL Server BI stack including SQL Server (2012 +).
Qualifications:
Required Skills & Experience:
- Three or more years of recent experience in data engineering, data cleansing, ETL processing, and MS SQL Server gained within the past five years
- Possess a DoD approved 8570 baseline certification which meets DoD Information Assurance Technician Level II (IAT2) baseline certification requirements.
- During performance, the Contractor shall maintain and upwardly progress Information Assurance Technician applicable certifications and continuing education as designated by DoDI 8510.01, Risk Management Framework (RMF) for DOD Information Technology and later updated versions. Any of the following certifications will meet the IAT2 requirement: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP, CASP CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH, or CISM.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
Security Clearance:
An Active DoD TS/SCI clearance required
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Experience with Oracle Golden Gate, IBM Cognos, SAP Business Objects, and structured query language database servers.
- Prior experience working in the NSW or SOF community
