Location – 100% remote

Contract Duration February 2023 March 31, 2024

This Individual Will Be Responsible For Performing The Following Tasks

We are looking for a Business Analyst who has strong ITSM/Change Management expertise.

  • Manage all aspects of the Regional Change Procedures and the Change Advisory Board
    • Plan and schedule Change Review Meetings
    • Plan and manage special review meetings regarding shutdown coordination
    • Perform daily review and approval of Emergency Changes to ensure process compliance
  • Manage CAB mailbox, on a daily basis, to fulfill requests by ITSM Change Users
    • Perform weekly review of all overdue changes that are not new
    • Send out reminders for Requesters to close and take action as needed
    • Store reports on MS Teams
  • Attend weekly North America IS Change Management Post Implementation & Initial Change Quality Review
    • Perform monthly review of all Standard Changes to ensure correct uses and take action if needed.
    • Store reports on Teams
  • Delegate roles & responsibilities to other CAB members
  • Scribe, email & chat monitor, CAB approvers
  • Maintain the change management policies, processes, systems, metrics, and procedures used across the entire IT business and adheres to all regulatory requirements
  • Research & proactively identify opportunities to process, measurements, and systems to improve change management services’ effectiveness and efficiency
  • Work closely and communicate effectively with users and stakeholders of the change process to drive the improvements
  • Assure service quality objectives, governance compliance, and responsiveness through KPIs and metrics
  • Review and approve/deny Standard Change Proposals
  • Support the development and execution of change management activities in partnership with customer teams – including stakeholder engagement, communication, training, and readiness and adoption measurement plans
  • Collaborate with the Requesters and key stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and quality of assigned deliverables
  • Identify possible issues/concerns, escalate risks and issues to management and project leadership teams, and implement mitigation plans if necessary
  • Create Incidents when necessary to ensure proper ITSM Change Operation
  • Identify training needs by analysis of common errors.
  • Keep the customers and internal stakeholders up to date on high priority changes through timely and regular written and verbal communications
  • Review the business case of all RFCs/change requests and formulate a plan of action for handling the change based on the area of expertise/responsibility
  • Ensure change management guidelines are updated
  • Serve as a liaison with Internal Training and Communications Staff to produce user guidance and bulletins explaining best practices and joint issues
  • Provide information and reports on change implementations, successful changes, and failed changes
  • Assess risk and consequences of changes requested
  • Review and oversee the approval process
  • Review normal business schedules to prevent changes from impacting them
  • Participate in ITSM Change System upgrades and testing
  • Maintain the Regional CAB Distribution List
  • Maintain the Regional CAB Teams Site

Required Skills And Expertise

  • 4 to 6 years of relevant technical or business work experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience
  • Must be proficient with using ServiceNow
  • Must be familiar with ITIL and Change Advisory Boards
  • Strong proficiency with ITSM Change Management Processes and creating reports, proficient with Excel.
  • ITSM Knowledge/experience is must
  • Microsoft office products experience is must
  • Change Approval Board experience is must
  • Good communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of business requirement and corporate priorities
  • Basic ability to perform the following tasks:
    • Gather/refine complex business requirements, recommend ,or make decisions on business requirements/interdependencies
    • Develop complex business cases
    • Create impact analysis to make recommendations
    • Present and defend complex positions and strategies for business decisions processes and plans
    • Assess corporate impacts of changes and recommend strategies to senior management
  • Basic knowledge of compliance, governance structures and audit principles
  • Basic understanding of the business architecture and its relationship to other architectures
