We re looking for 4-6 Year experienced candidate, having hands on testing BI Reports in/on Salesforce Einstein Analytics/ CRM Tableau, Cognos, PowerBI, Tableau, AWS Quicksight etc. In addition, this candidate should have strong hands-on experience with writing medium to complex SQL Queries, debugging Stored Procedure Code, testing complex ETL Workflows, Datamart, Datawarehouse, Data profiling, Data visualization and must be very familiar with the Salesforce AWS Ecosystems.
The candidate is expected to be able to visualize complex, high volume of data movement across multiple systems, getting enriched/transformed as it moves and must be able to design and execute tests for each step of this end to end transformation.
Candidate should be very well versed with Salesforce AWS as a platform, ideally Salesforce, AWS ISEB/ISTQB certified, and must have strong SQL/Data/ ETL/ DWH/ testing skills, and black box and white box test design techniques. Using a data-driven approach, should be able to create functional/automated tests using SOQL, SAQL, backend services/APIs and the User Interface. Should understand full data model inside outside of AWS SFDC for functional testing.
Major Plus would be Capital Markets Domain Knowledge and broad-stack test automation experience. Bonus if well versed with Python
Key Accountabilities
- Translate business and technical requirements to test requirements using test design patterns in an agile and nimble fashion, working closely with the business analysts, Dev and product mgmt. teams
- Work closely with Jefferies Quality Engineering, Development and product mgmt. teams to plan, prioritize and conduct QA activities, including Regression Testing
- Prepare and maintain a test plan, test scripts and test data and demonstrate the business condition under test and the expected results
- Investigate application issues, suggesting workarounds and assist in analyzing root cause to identify defects.
- Ensure defects can be re-produced and document in enough detail for the developers to locate and amend the incorrect code
- Identify, define and assess defined issues/problems within own area of responsibility, referring options for solutions to line management as appropriate
- Execute manual regression tests to ensure existing functionality remains working as designed prior to each Salesforce release
- Log defects in defect tracking tool, collaborate with Data/ETL Salesforce developers to resolve defects, retest failed test scenarios, and close defects once remediated
- Review test results with Product Owner and feature Solutions Architect and report and communicate testing progress to the Test Manager, business owners and their proxies
- Work with team to maintain traceability matrices correlating requirements and design artifacts to test cases
- Understand the role of testing within the software development lifecycle and business-related project constraints, and effectively advocate for the best possible customer experience of product quality within those parameters
- Participates in agile team ceremonies including Program Increment (PI) planning, Sprint planning, daily standups, demos and retrospectives
- 4-6 years of BI Report, Salesforce CRM (Sales and Service Cloud) and AWS technologies testing experience.
- Experience working as a member of an agile delivery (Scrum or SAFe) team.
- Experience in testing, and defects management.
- Significant experience writing SQL queries to assist in validating test results. Strong command over SQL, SAQL and SOQL
- Strong technical problem-solving and debugging skills. Financial services experience a plus.
- Proven ability to develop and execute Data and Analytics, SQL and ETL tests
- Strong report and data testing knowledge, esp. with Einstein
- Has built Test Data and can create test data using stubs/drivers to validate functionality on the GUI for which real test data is not yet available
- Using a data-driven approach, create functional and automated tests to test Stored Procedure code, SAQL SOQL, backend services/APIs, config/declarative approach and the User Interface
- Strong ability to test REST/SOAP API s and web services
- Strong Knowledge of how to test AWS infrastructure and data residing in the AWS infrastructure, and from a Salesforce perspective – triggers, workflows, validations, SF objects, SOQL, SOSL, SAQL
- Exceptional ability to balance multiple priorities and manage details
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, including working with individuals in different geographical locations and time-zones
- Thorough knowledge of structured test methods and processes
- Experience with testing software systems. Testing of customized Salesforce application(s) is a plus.
- Experience with automated test tools e.g. Python, Selenium, Appium, SoapUI, Experitest etc.
- Significant Experience developing and executing Salesforce functional and integration tests
- Experience with manual web services and API testing (esp. REST)
- Salesforce Mobile experience a plus.
- AWS Cloud practitioner, App Dev certification and basic SF Admin certification preferred.
