DePuy Synthes (DPS), part of the Johnson & Johnson family of companies, is currently recruiting for a Marketing Manager, Analytics and Insights – Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASC). The role will be remote in the Continental USA.

Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs) are healthcare facilities that perform surgery without requiring hospital admission and are associated with a lower length of stay. More and more Orthopaedic procedures are moving into this setting as Medicare and other payors are reimbursing and many analysts predict that 80% of Orthopaedic procedures will be done in this space by 2025, which makes this one of the fastest-growing, most dynamic channels of our business. In this role, you will use analytic solutions derived from insights to develop and ensure the execution of business plans specific to the ASC teams needs and expectations. You will lead the development of analytics and insight capabilities, as well as build and monitor the metrics to measure our success. You will also serve as the bridge between data science and business, with the ability to communicate in both domains by leading efforts across multiple platforms, functions, and channels across the Orthopaedics business.
This role reports to the Sr. Manager, Sales, and Marketing Effectiveness (ASC).
To be successful the candidate will:
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to grow the DePuy Synthes ASC Orthopedics business and make data-driven decisions.
- Possess the technical skills required to build analytical solutions that provide insights to managers and reps
- Have a curiosity for sales data and the potential hidden connections/insights it may contain.
- Collaborate with platform marketing teams that are essential to the growth of DePuy Synthes
- Develops innovative approaches to drive product growth and increase market share
- Implement and measure tactics that deliver on our value propositions in order to meet our customer’s needs.
- Develops analytics capabilities using Alteryx, Tableau and Excel.
- Explores innovative ways to drive awareness and demand for our key platforms.
- Monitors and controls budget to assess promotional effectiveness; owns demand forecasting for assigned products and analyzing financials within the ASC market.
- Works proactively with external agencies and across functions within the organization.
- Ensures completion of market analysis and identifies competitive insights.
- Develops prioritization of new opportunities through financial modeling and gap analysis.
- Completes compliance training requirements, expense reporting, and other Company system required documentation.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $93,000 – $139,000

Qualifications
Education:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required
- An Advanced or Master’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or MBA strongly preferred
Required Skills & Experience:
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant business experience (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Data Science)
- Proficiency with Salesforce, Excel, and Tableau software
- Ability to verbally and non-verbally communicate sophisticated data analysis to team members
- Ability to navigate and achieve business impact without direct line reporting
- Strong communication, collaboration, project management and organizational influence skills
- Good people skills with emphasis on leadership, relationship development and influence management
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Orthopedics experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of brand marketing, customer segmentation and marketing communications
- Experience in customer selling and interaction
Other:
- The role will be remote in the Continental USA and will require up to 25% travel.
