- Responsible for various weekly, monthly, and quarterly PowerBI reports
- Design and/or maintain a variety of sales, customer, and management reports
- Provide analytical assistance on special projects for the Sales & Executive Team
SUMMARY
This position is responsible for supporting the Americas dealer network, Executive Management, and Sales Management. Will present strong analytical skills combined with a professional background in data mining/acquisition for reporting sales & marketing data for insights and decision support.
DUTIES
- Lead and manage all aspects of sales and marketing data (ETL & reporting) and proactively reviews and suggests the best solutions and reports to meet business and market requirements.
- Responsible for various weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports including providing analytical assistance on Management projects and presentations and make recommendations.
- Design and/or maintain a variety of management reports in support of the business units. This includes but is not limited to Product, Sales, and Marketing program analysis
- Provide analytical assistance on special projects for the Sales Manager & Managing Director.
- Assist other departments to build analytical and operational reports using Power BI (or similar)
- Assist Sales Support Representatives with the inputting of retail activity into the reporting system, tracking down correct discounts, working closely with IT, Warranty, and Accounting.
- Responsible for accurate and timely reporting of dealer inventory, shipments, and retail activity to the trade association (AEM), including maintaining AEM model charts, manufacturer data tables (dealer territory alignments, model data changes, etc.)
- Serves as company representative on statistical committee activities conducted by the trade association, which may require brief overnight travel.
- Compiles and distributes the industry statistics from the trade association with other data sources to Management (US and Japan), Regional Business Managers and Sales Support Reps, as well as Dealer Management (customized to their specific sales areas).
- Work with the Assistant Sales Manager, Sales and Managing Director in providing monthly forecast market data to Japan.
- Provide additional reports and analysis on dealer inventory and retail activity as requested.
- Integrated with the Retail Statistics process, this position will work with Director of Sales, Assistant Sales Manager and Marketing Manager to determine measurement criteria and standings data on various sales and incentive programs.
- Work with IT to design & implement new retail submission and reporting processes as necessary.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance, or technology
- Prefer experience with some or all of the following: SQL, SSIS, SSRS/PowerBI/Tableau
- Possesses strong understanding of company data structure(s) across disparate systems
- Advanced proficient skills in MS Office and aptitude to learn other software systems and applications.
- Must have a high proficiency in Excel and Database Systems Analytics
- Business aptitude to analyze and recommend target price positioning and implementation
