You’ll be part of a team specifically built to meet and exceed our evolving technology needs, as well as our technology controls agenda.
Job Description:
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
8+ years of experience in building and deploying large scale applications, preferably in the data domain
Provide technical expertise throughout the software life cycle including design, implementation and delivery
Understanding of cloud, virtualization, APIs, and modern software languages
Software development experience in Java
Advanced experience working with distributed and parallel systems and large-scale software development
Understanding or have experience with Agile and Lean philosophies
Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills with clear communication
Ability to collaborate with different roles to achieve common goals
Experience with Kafka and streaming data processing
Knowledge of one or more non-relational data stores like Cassandra, Elasticsearch and HBase
Knowledge of Big Data Engineering frameworks including Apache Spark
Experience in developing and deploying applications to Public Cloud is a plus
Experience in leading a small team of developers is a plus.
Must Have: Core Java, Understanding of spark, Kafka streaming, Knowledge of design patterns, Should have hands on experience with Java.
Nice to have: Understanding of Cloud technologies, tools, Understanding of public cloud
