Asset Management India Client & Product teams cover functions that span across the entire lifecycle of a client. Starting with Sales & Marketing, the group includes functions like Sales support, Product Strategy, Market Insight, Data Management & Governance, Data Delivery & Solutions and Business Intelligence & Analytics. The Product teams, comprising of Research analysts, Investment Specialists (IS) and Portfolio Management teams are responsible for providing additional insights to our securities coverage universe, strategy design, commercializing and monetizing our strategies. The Client Service group caters to functions like RFP, Onboarding, KYC, Client Reporting and Fund level Governance oversight functions involving Product administration, Board management, Funds registration, TA Service Delivery, Product implementation and vendor management services.

Multi-Asset Solutions:
The Multi-Asset Solutions team designs and manages multi-asset class portfolios, integrating the breadth and depth of investment talent within JPMAM, and drawing on its proprietary quantitative and qualitative research capabilities, strategy and security selection, asset allocation and risk-focused portfolio management expertise.
Widely regarded as a pioneer in asset allocation, Multi-Asset Solutions has a 45-year history of helping clients meet their objectives though an appropriate strategic asset allocation framework, active asset allocation and manager alpha.
As at 31 March 2022, Multi-Asset Solutions had over USD 280 billion in assets under management. The strategies and solutions that have been developed for the team’s clients can be placed into four broad categories: outcome oriented, target date, risk-based balanced and single asset.
About the Role
Multi-Asset Solutions is seeking a Full-Time Analyst to join the team in India as an Investment Specialist (IS). The Investment Specialist team is keenly focused on growing the business through new clients, expanding existing relationships and delivering new product, as well as retaining current assets. Importantly, the team maintains a strong communication framework to provide new and existing clients with detailed and regular insights. The Analyst will work with the team on prospective opportunities and supporting existing client relationships. The Analyst role requires strong time management and communication skills, as well as attention to detail, as we seek to deliver high quality, timely insights to our clients through a team-based approach. The Analyst role requires the candidate to demonstrate strong verbal, written and numerical skills, be competent at multi-tasking, comfortable working at a moderate to fast pace and keen to grow in the role. The Analyst will initially focus on managing our regular updates to clients through pitchbooks and data-led reports, while learning about our business. Over time the role will expand to include responding to adhoc queries from our stakeholders, setting up new reporting requirements, trouble-shooting any data and reporting issues.
Responsibilities Include:
- Preparation of Strategy presentations comprising of:
o Performance & Market value
o Analytics and characteristics of the portfolio
o Details on Holdings in the portfolio
- Prepare of customized Client presentations for IS’s review meetings
- Analysis of portfolios including positioning , analytics and performance results
- Assist with the preparation of client performance reports and investment review materials for new and existing clients and providing commentaries on performance drivers
- Assist in preparation of any other communication
- Monitoring guidelines and adherence for internal/external managed portfolios
- Co-ordinate with Sales, Consultants and RFP teams to cater their requirements
- Any other requirement of the IS
Desired Candidate Profile:
• At least 2 – 3 years of experience in Asset Management, Investment banking support
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills (including data analysis and ability to understand data flows)
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Proactive, positive approach. Able to grasp/learn concepts and procedures quickly
- Good Verbal and Written Communication skills
- Time management skills & ability to multi-task
- Delivery focus and detail-orientation with strong commitment to accuracy
- Self-starter and ability to work both independently and as a team player
- Understanding of Equities and/or Fixed Income and the asset management business is a plus
- CFA/FRM candidature would be an added advantage
