Job Description
Join the Public Cloud Enablement Team dedicated to defining and implementing the standards and best practices that Product teams should follow ensuring adequate controls when migrating to public cloud while maintaining parity across the board and gaining speed, efficiency and quality across the Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) line of business. As an experienced Tableau & Alteryx Dashboard Developer you will play a key role driving how we analyze, visualize, and report information. You will provide end-to-end preparation of data and development of dashboards using Tableau & Alteryx providing analysis and insights to senior management, including the CCB leadership team.
The successful candidate must possess strong analytical & problem-solving skills, effectively formulate analysis and its outcomes, can prioritize and manage time, and be able to build relationships with key stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop dashboards in Tableau using Alteryx and other data wrangling tools to summarize and analyze key business drivers
- Work with key stakeholders on all levels to determine requirements for new dashboards
- Have and leverage a strong foundational knowledge of metrics to build effective solutions that simplify, automate, and add value
- Express creativity and ingenuity to transform how we see and understand data
- Work with Technology, Program, and Strategy teams to develop dashboards that works efficiently with strong controls
- Understand the various sources of information and how to strategically source data
- Track development and deployment timelines
- User Acceptance Testing and Validation of new dashboards
- Partner effectively across CCB technology and other key areas of JPMC
- Analyze progress and business results to develop insights for the CCB Leadership Team
- Develop and utilize technical expertise in Alteryx and Tableau to obtain and analyze information effectively and efficiently
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 7 years experience working with data analytics projects, preferably related to services domain
- Minimum 3 years experience developing advanced data visualization and presentations preferably with Tableau
- Tableau and data wrangling (e.g., Alteryx) experience is required
- Experience with Alteryx Server, R or Python a plus
- Flexible individual who can easily and efficiently transition across topics and disciplines
- Adept at multi-tasking and meeting deadlines in high-pressure environment
- Proven ability to synthesize work products into executive summaries and/or briefs and reports
- Experience with relational databases optimizing SQL to pull and summarize large datasets, report creation and ad-hoc analyses
- Experience in reporting development and testing, and ability to interpret ‘the why’ and draw objective inferences given known limitations of the data
- Ability to define and track project deliveries through to implementation
- Proactive/self-starter with the ability to deliver value-added support to business partners in a dependable, timely and accurate manner
- Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and partners from a variety of business functions
