As part of the Card Product Office Intake & Discovery team, the Business Product Analysis Manager partners with technology and product teams alike to develop technology solutions that achieve business project objectives and resolve customer pain points. Responsibilities include partnering with technology architects to develop solution intent documentation, to produce optimized, multi-phase, and sequenced roadmaps for iterative development, and collaborating with the Card Product Office Planning team for impact assessment, supporting product alignment, and slotting. The person in this role is a thought leader who brings value to the Card business, product, and technology team by collaborating with the stakeholders to identify and resolve capability gaps, identify efficiency opportunities, and advance platform modernization efforts. The projects are typically high profile with significant bottom-line impact, highly complex, strategic in nature, and may span across multiple lines of business.

The Card Product Office Intake & Discovery team’s primary mission is to advance business strategy through the thoughtful evolution of an idea into executable items on business roadmaps. In partnership with Card Product Office Planning team, and technology, data, and design counterparts, this team provides planning, design, and execution support & leadership for large, complex, technology-dependent programs and projects that cut across CCB product and functional areas.

Key responsibilities:

  • Work with business, technology and product partners to assess, organize, and plan feature/capabilities
  • Develop solutions for projects of varying size using a collaborative approach
  • Partner with Card IT solution architects to ensure all solutions are aligned with the Card platform modernization roadmap
  • Maintain awareness of and utilize the latest methodologies and tools in alignment with industry and business area standards
  • Present and consult with senior management regarding process and customer experience recommendations for complex programs & projects
  • Anticipate and identify impacts to operations and business processes
  • Collaborate with the wider Chase organization Product Owners and Product Technical leads alike to determine the optimal process/solution to support the business need
  • Identify opportunities to improves process and customer experience
  • Develop business roadmaps that allow customer experience to be delivered incrementally with increasing functionality and business value over time

Qualifications:

  • Advanced Leadership skills
  • Skilled in problem solutions architecture, analysis, and resolution
  • Working knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and LeSS
  • Teamwork
  • Project Planning and Organization, including ability to manage timelines and identify dependencies, risks, scope, and escalate appropriately as needed.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills
  • Computer Fluency (Strong Word Processing, Spreadsheet, and Process Mapping Software skills)
  • Proficiency in Process Analysis or Business Process Mapping
  • Must be able to communicate at all organizational levels
  • Coaching/ Training Skills
  • 7+ years of business analysis experience in business and/or technology projects
