Job Location: Bengaluru
- Seasoned risk professional with sound data warehousing expertise to be able to act as a business analyst cum project manager for supporting risk teams by coordinating with various stakeholder and ensuring delivery of future ready data model
- Capture data needs of various stakeholder and implement ways of making data easily accessible from data store to end consumers
- Help Risk innovate through data-driven decisioning i.e. by querying data and merging information from diverse data sources to create rich datasets that enable better decision-making
- Work with other Analytics teams and multi-task on projects to summarize and synthesize data and present recommendations to Risk in a clear and logical manner
- Provide analytical support using SQL, Python in order to help Risk to measure KPIs or perform ad-hoc data exploration
- Work closely with data lead and establish technical requirements. Create design proposals and gain buy-in
- Work with various support services team and make the most of IT capability available within the firm
- Drive innovation and create model ways of data delivery
- Work closely with business users to understand their reporting requirements and drive the delivery
Skills & Competencies required: –
- Experience in data warehousing, logical data model, data management, data analytics, data governance, reporting and dashboard
- Experience in managing data / analytics deliverable or a consulting experience in the data/analytics space
- Overall experience of 6+ years in in Banking/ Financial Services. – strong driving & navigational skills
- Experience with relational databases utilizing SQL to pull and summarize large datasets, report creation and ad-hoc analysis
- Demonstrate ability to think beyond raw data and to understand the underlying business context and sense business opportunities hidden in the data
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Data analytics experience with Python is a plus
- Advanced MS Office suite skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)
- A very strong track record of ownership and accountability will be key to the success of this role
- Experience of working in an Agile framework
- Highly effective in narrating the analytical output to stake holders, draw agreement on business actions or formulate impact strategies
