- Intelligent individual who has interest in the markets and is well versed in how securities function.
- Knowledge of industry activities, particularly corporate actions, index tracking, stock markets, and derivatives valuations.
- Bachelors degree with preference in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- Minimum 1 year of securities pricing experience required, including exposure to debt, listed instruments and OTC derivatives.
- Demonstrate experience with and knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical/problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills demonstrating customer focus and an ability to effectively communicate within a team environment and interact across departments.
- Self-motivated and proactive with the proven ability to work accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
- To ensure accurate capturing of Trades / Prices / Corporate Actions/ FX rates data for the purpose of providing accurate Net Asset Value calculation.
- Securities Creation + Maintenance, and Pricing of all asset classes like Equities, Fixed income, Listed Options, Mutual Funds, OTCs etc.
- Trade processing covering trade check, confirmations/ affirmations, fail trade review, Coupon payment and factor update
- Product knowledge of all OTC products.
- Instruments & Pricing vendor knowledge, i.e. Bloomberg, Reuters, ICE, Markit, SuperD etc.
- Liaise with vendor (Internal & External) to resolve issues and minimize risk.
- Bespoke valuation services for unlisted exotic security types.
- Assisting with the independent review of Fund Manager driven pricing
- Monitor systems for related job success and resolve issues by working with vendor.
- Escalate all issues promptly and effectively to supervisor
- Ensure operational support for Hedge Fund trading globally.
