About the Team
The Graphite Payments Transformation Team is responsible for Payments Product Transformation for Treasury Services. Treasury Services is responsible for Product Strategy, development and commercialisation of new product capabilities and also support existing products like high and low value payments services that J.P. Morgan delivers to Financial Institution, Non-Bank Financial Institution, Corporate and Commercial Bank clients globally. These services include Direct Clearing as well as Correspondent based settlement solutions to the client.
The Business Analyst is expected to work on the build of the Strategic Global Payments User Interface.
Considered to be one of the Firms major strategic initiatives, the teams aligned to this project operate in a fast paced, dynamic, multi-threaded and deadline driven environment.
About the Position
Business Analyst for the Strategic Global Payments User Interface. The roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Support the Payments User Interface Framework for Existing, New and Innovative Payment Methods
- Articulate and document process flows including customer interactions, Operational interventions, end to end flows, data handoffs, etc.
- Conduct gaps/differences analysis as required to determine degree of change emergent from business initiatives
- Be able to create wireframes/ mock-ups to depict user business flows and gauge user experience
- Lead and participate in discussions relating to E2E Project lifecycle starting with initiation till the overall implementation
- Drive discussions with stakeholders – Product, Operations and Technology to understand and agree operational flows
- Perform deep dives with the stakeholders to drive requirements and implement changes
- Manage tracking of the prioritized requirements and share status updates
- Familiarize working with the AGILE methodology – create business flows, user stories and track tech development
- Work with the leads to prioritize and manage requirements leading towards a delivery/implementation
- Conduct user research to determine the prioritization and desirability of requirements
- Perform impact analysis for business initiatives to determine key business groups that will consequently be required to undergo technical or operational process change
- Conduct walkthroughs and training sessions to update stakeholders and user groups
- Establish strategic relationships
- Participate in the overall project scoping and planning.
- Defect analysis, prioritisation and exploring alternative solutions
Required Skills / Experience
- Hands on Payments systems requirements definition experience
- Experience in creating wireframes, UI UX designs will be an advantage
- Understanding of the Agile model and experience of defining the requirements using demo goals using Given, When, Then format will be a plus
- Understanding of Project delivery framework
- Understanding and experience of using JIRA
- Understanding of the broader external market and upcoming regulatory changes
- Ability to build partnerships and work in a collaborative environment
- Strategic thinker with the ability to motivate and drive tactical execution
- Solid track record of success in supporting large-scale initiatives
- Creative problem solver, capable of developing innovative and differentiated solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication
