As a Data Analyst, you will join the Technology Development Control Domain Authority (Tech Dev CDA), a unique team that carefully balances out developer enablement efforts and risk management activities. One of the Tech Dev CDA goals is to adequately manage the risk associated with SDLC related processes; it sets requirements to build secure software from the start, interfaces with developers, regulators, auditors and the firm Governance, Risk and Compliance team.
To help carry the CDA further, we are searching for an experienced data analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate should be highly skilled in all aspects of data analytics, including mining, generation and visualization. Additionally you should be committed in transforming data into readable, goal-driven report for continued innovation and risk mitigation efforts.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and govern the CDA telemetry inventory
- Mine data from primary and secondary sources, organize data in a way that can easily be understood to drive risk related discussions
- Work directly with management to prepare reports for executive leadership that effectively communicate trends, patterns and predictions
- Proactively analyze SDLC related data to improve the CDA risk identification capabilities, identify thematic issues and effectively monitor control efficacy
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, computer science, or statistics
- 2-3 years experience mining data as a data analyst
- Proven analytical skills including mining, evaluation, analysis and visualization
- Technical writing experience in relevant areas such as risk management and SDLC
- Strong SQL or Tableau skills with ability to learn other analytical tools
- Prior experience with database, model design and segmentation techniques
- Strong programming experience and use of CI/CD pipelines
- Proven success in collaborative, team-oriented environments
