The Customer Experience Analytics team (within CCB Data & Analytics organization) is looking for a talented, highly motivated individual with strong data analysis and strategic thinking skills to support advanced analytics projects across Operations functions, channels and products. The Customer Experience Analytics team is responsible for deriving insights about our customers’ journeys and developing and implementing innovative strategies and advanced analytics solutions to improve the customer experience. We work collaboratively with all functional teams across CCB Operations as well as Strategic and Analytics teams across CCB.

This individual will lead initiatives focused on transformation in Retails Operations using Machine Learning and Advanced Analytics . S/he will be involved in all phases of the analytics lifecycle, including hypothesis development, analysis scoping, business case development, data analysis, generating insights, data development, developing and delivering presentations of findings. This leader will work closely with other leads in Data Engineering, Design, Modeling and Product team to deliver impactful Products using Agile methodology.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of talented decision scientists and quant analysts in problem solving with high EQ.
  • Lead partnership with Machine Learning and Intelligent Operations Product Group with strong understanding of business drivers and underlying data.
  • Develop insights that drive product feature prioritization by understanding volumes and customer journey/friction points across a variety of channels (calls, branch, online, mobile)
  • Contribute to development of and measurement against business cases; Analyze program performance and derive insights to help inform future customer strategies.
  • Collaborate with product owners to formulate quantifiable goals; advise on strategies to achieve business goals.
  • Lead execution of KPIs, trend analysis, dashboards and analyses including segmentation, optimization and other techniques to improve business function performance.
  • Collaborate across functions and LOB’s to drive Analytics and Insights.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations summarizing sharp insights and conclusions, often for senior executives, in regularly-scheduled Product Leadership meetings.
  • Identify key data to be collected during Product feature development for inclusion in data mart.
  • Partner closely and collaborate with data management teams, strategy teams, and other analytics resources across multiple functional teams.

Qualifications and Required Skills

  • 10+ years of related experience
  • Master’s degree and/or PhD in relevant field preferred. Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field with relevant experience will be considered.
  • Passion for understanding customer friction points and solving for them with innovation.
  • Demonstrate people management and team-building skills
  • Bias toward action that measures success in timely business outcomes. Passion for excellence, not perfection, and ability to drive results and continuous improvement.
  • Strong leadership acumen that inspires and challenges colleagues to deliver positive change in complex, matrixed organization.
  • Expertise in working simultaneously with diverse teams and disparate projects using Agile methodology.
  • Structured thinker, effective communicator with excellent written communication skills; Ability to present fact-based recommendations in a clear, logical, and concise way; tell a story with data.
  • Must be proactive, results driven and have a proven track record of execution
  • Applied experience in a variety of machine learning techniques like bagging, boosting, deep learning, NLP, NLU.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Controls minded – Exercise sound judgment; act with integrity; protect our company, clients, and customers.
