This is a very exciting opportunity for any AI Engineer which empowers you using cutting edge technology to utilize artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms for cyber security threat detection and mitigation at scale.
Your Role
- Closely collaborate with subject matter experts (SME) in Cyber Technology Group
- Mine and analyze data from JPMC data sources and assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
- Develop custom data models and algorithms that effectively address to apply to data sets to Cyber Technology Group’s requirements.
- Develop and utilize firm’s A/B testing framework to test model quality.
- Apply advanced principles, theories, and concepts, particularly in the area of algorithms for AI/ML/DL, Transfer Learning and Reinforcement Learning, to cyber data sets
- Utilize open source and third party models and also contribute to the development of innovative AI capabilities.
- Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.
- Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy
Basic Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in statistics, artificial intelligence, machine learning or related field.
- Firm knowledge of statistical theory, data mining, or machine learning algorithms is a requirement.
- Expertise with R or Python, SQL, Spark in developing applications at scale using large datasets
- 5+ years of experience in developing end to end AI solutions
- Proven experience in applying AI to practical and all-inclusive technology solutions
- Strong problem solving skills with an emphasis on product development.
- Experience working with and creating data architectures.
- Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.
- Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage, etc.) and experience with applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.
- A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
Additional Desired Qualifications
- Coding knowledge and experience with several languages: C, C++, Java,
- Knowledge and experience in statistical and data mining techniques: GLM/Regression, Random Forest, Boosting, Trees, text mining, social network analysis, etc.
- Experience querying databases and using statistical computer languages: R, Python, SLQ, etc.
- Experience using web services: Redshift, S3, Spark, DigitalOcean, etc.
- Experience creating and using advanced machine learning algorithms and statistics: regression, simulation, scenario analysis, modeling, clustering, decision trees, neural networks, etc.
- Experience with distributed data/computing tools: Map/Reduce, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Gurobi, MySQL, etc
