Strategic Finance Reference Data Projects is aligned to the Financial Accounting, Infrastructure & Reporting which is also responsible for improving the quality, integrity and reliability of the firm’s critical data. Strategic Financial Reference Data (FRD) team manages reference data projects for financial reference data (the Data Domains for general ledger account/chart of accounts, legal entities/internal parties, business unit, etc.) and reference data for the Product and Services Data Domain. This position requires a candidate to provide analysis and project support on numerous initiatives within finance reference data project team, including, Finance and Risk, Reference Data Operations strategy, Legal Entity Simplification, Finance & Risk Roadmap and the broader Reference Data Operations.

Job Description
- Create & manage project plans
- Obtain & document business requirements by interacting with all stakeholders
- Generate process flow diagrams and other required documentation where applicable
- Conduct significant data mining & analysis to support recommendations and necessary action items
- Ability to relate application to data used and how it is stored in various tables in the database
- Review data in database using SQL
- Solution best way to approach requirements from application and data perspective
- Maintain partnership with the Client, RDT – Reference Data Technology and Operations on the Design, Build and Testing of requirements
- Assist clients with FRD process and content
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases and test scripts
- Assist in preparing status reports
- Assist in managing the overall project governance
- Assist with defining and documenting operating model
- Write User Stories, and contribute towards organizing these into Themes and Epics
- Manage overall project governance
- Facilitate meetings with key stakeholders typically weekly (PWG, Requirements Sessions, Project Governance, etc.)
Skills:
- Data mining skills utilizing various report writers, Oracle developer tools, attaching tables via MS Access, etc. to retrieve data for analysis;
- SQL to retrieve data from database;
- Experience with importing data into MS Access and writing ad hoc queries as necessary to analyze data; and
- Ability to draw conclusions from data analysis and effectively communicate them to management and project team.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate would have a graduate/post-graduate degree or equivalent, and overall 2-5+ years professional experience with 2+ years of project management experience.
- Ability to handle multiple deliverables concurrently to deliver high quality results in committed timeframes
- Partnership-oriented and team player with ability to communicate with all staff levels within and outside of own area
- Self-starter with excellent interpersonal and project management skills
- Strong data mining, problem solving and analytical skills with ability to summarize findings
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project and MS Access
- Proven experience working with Technology to deliver projects
- Familiarity with the Agile development methodology is high desirable
- Experience with QC, ALM and other testing tools is a plus
- Familiarity with SAP, JPMC financial processes, and a solid understanding of reference data infrastructure including repositories and maintenance is highly desirable
