Job Description
Are you interested in understanding human conversations and how to mimic that across various machine learning platforms?
If so, then this might be the right opportunity for you. We are searching for a detail-oriented, controls minded, and willingness to learn the business. You will be part of the Digital Product Team that utilizes machine learning approach to improve our customers experience across Chase.com/Chase Mobile App, by utilizing virtual assistant and natural language search products. We are seeking a talented and passionate individual to assess and identify opportunities to improve features and customer experience of our products.
Responsibilities
- Work on data labeling tool(s) and annotate data for machine learning models. Sift through structured and unstructured data; identify the right content and annotate with the right label
- Create training sets for machine learning models from structured and unstructured data
- Understand and define the relationship among labelled entities in unstructured documents
- Validate model results from the business perspective and provide feedback for the improvement on the model. (Manual and semi-manual validation)
- Conduct research and bring clarity in business definitions and concepts
- Effectively communicate model results to both technical and business audiences
- Structure and work on multiple related projects to deliver the book of work, from creation of training data to validation of results of a production-level machine learning application
Qualifications
- Undergrad/MBA
- 3 – 7 experience in the role of business analyst/data analyst
- Ability to identify the right label(s) from the complex business language will be required
- Ability to understand and define relationship among business entities will be required
- Ability to create and maintain business level ground truths across multiple projects
- Should be able to work both individually and collaboratively across various teams in the front office, technology and operations, in order to achieve project goals
- Must be curious, hardworking and detail-oriented, and genuinely interested in the data analytics techniques
- Should be able to develop a working level domain knowledge on machine learning concepts
- Should be able to develop an understanding of model scoring parameters such as precision, recall and f-score
- Experience in roles dealing with data extraction from financial documents is preferred
