Team Description
Global CRM team is part of AM’s Global Sales Enablement organization. The core objective of the team is to ensure that the Global CRM (Salesforce) solution remains strategic and keeps pace with an ever changing client and regulatory environment. CRM team is focused on driving the data agenda forward, building on and supporting the overall CRM platform and data capabilities across the Client’s lifecycle.
The team in India is responsible for supporting a diverse range of business process and reporting needs across our Asset Management organization. The team provides functional and user support to the CRM platform. It plays a pivotal role in the data management/governance stream to help generate vital business/strategic insights for decision making.
The role requires coordinating and working with the Distribution teams, and their partners (Client Service, Marketing, Product, Finance, MIS/Business Intelligence and Technology).
Job Specification
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst for the Asset Management CRM team. The successful candidate must have excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Will be responsible for analyzing data, performing root cause analysis, improve data quality and controls on the CRM system, Salesforce and the supporting data warehouse capabilities. This position is a non-IT position
Functional Responsibilities:
- Provide ongoing business support to the users of Asset Management CRM platform
- Undertake business process engineering initiatives – Apply critical thinking to troubleshoot issues, proactively identify and develop new ideas / innovations that will add value to the business and team
- Provide deep knowledge of application / data warehouse functionality and requirements and participate in workshops, planning and execution
- Strong knowledge of data architectures, ability to understand data flows and implement effective data management techniques (includes data wrangling, UATs, Bulk Upload, monitoring/reconciling data feeds from various sources and ensuring smooth transition over into the systems)
- Oversee conceptual, logical and physical data models that conform to standards and conventions.
- Create and enforce policies with regards to data acquisition, rationalization, maintenance and modifications for internal and external data sources
- Data Stewardship – Support strong data governance and management to ensure compliance with data standards and a single client view is maintained. Develop consistent data definitions, define data ‘golden sources’ and created standardization.
- Design and own process improvements for data quality analysis, auditing, tracking, cleansing, and escalation to ensure high quality data within various systems
- Using Data Quality tools, build, test, and execute logical business rules for quality based on the requirements as defined by data owners.
- Initiate / support various global projects – Develop and manage projects, ensure timely quality deliverables and report project progress.
- Ability to interpret system / business requirements and prepare specification and design document.
- Execute ongoing release management to continuously enhance the solution; act as a link between the business stakeholders and Technology / vendor during the design, build, test and implementation phases
Qualifications:
- Relevant industry experience and knowledge of sales process, MBA (Finance)/Engineering is a plus.
- Understanding of asset management industry
- Strong academic background with established analytical, programming and technical skills (Certifications in CRM, Data Management & Business Intelligence domain is preferable)
- Experience working with an industry recognized CRM platform (Salesforce.com is a plus)
- Experience with databases and data analysis software – proficiency with SQL/Python/BO/Alteryx is a plus
- Strong Microsoft office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communicator (written and verbal) with strong interpersonal skills
Skills:
- Understanding of Asset Management business (Investment Management, Mutual Funds, Managed Accounts, and/or Separate Accounts) preferable
- Ability to delve into details with a view to proactively solve issues, develop new ideas and add value to existing functions
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities/workflows
- Proven ability to quickly learn the business, the application and adapt to ever changing priorities
- Ability to analyze large data sets, summarize findings and recommend feasible solutions
