As a Business Analyst Associate I you will serve as the document owner for procedures across the KYC – Ops / FCOI organization. You will work with internal business partners to develop new processes, update existing procedures and job aids and lead deep dive work-streams as needed to simplify the business. You will work with Project Owners and SMEs across functions and lines of business including GFCC and AML / KYC Oversight on change requests from initiation to completion, analyzing the document request & the scope of work, developing comprehensive content recommendations, timelines & strategic planning documents. As a Business Analyst Associate I you will work individually or as part of a team to document & publish content in the various document repositories following established guidelines. All Process team members are expected to be flexible and competent in a fast-paced, deadline-driven corporate environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage & execute procedure project from initiation through delivery:
    • Analyze the request, create a content outline & documentation strategy
    • Create procedures from multiple resources, including but not limited to, documentation provided by the lines of business, process mapping, SMEs and other types of material
    • Partner with SMEs to ensure procedures accurately reflect corporate policy and current processes established within each department
  • Work with the Knowledge Management team through the Change Manager process to publish procedures in Chase Answers
  • Convert existing procedures into Voice of Chase format
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in content development
  • Drive simplification in processes to support employee experience for production teams
  • Attend and or drive project meetings to provide insight and be the advocate for the end user in developing and maintaining processes
  • Perform annual recertification on assigned book of work
  • Special assignment and projects, including letter ownership and process map creation

Qualifications

  • Graduate in B.Com or equivalent
  • Strong and effective communication, interpersonal and cross-cultural skills to develop relationships between business groups
  • Flexible in adapting and embracing change
  • Relationship builder, who can establish trust and credibility across the organization
  • Flexible, upbeat and energetic attitude – self – starter with the ability to quickly build strong partnerships, effectively communicate needs and challenges
  • Demonstrates ability to solve problems and think creatively
  • 6-8 years of relevant experience in Banking or BFSI
  • Prior KYC / AML experience is an added advantage
  • Candidates should be flexible to work in night shifts (timings might vary according to process requirements)

Key Position Requirements

  • Ability to work effectively on multiple projects in a fast moving, deadline-driven and agile development environment
  • Solid understanding of structured writing techniques, templates, style guides & file management
  • Must be able to communicate with all levels of employees, including the end-user, project teams, operation managers, senior managers, GFCC, Controls & AML / KYC managers
  • Strong project management skills demonstrated by timely task completion and quality of deliverables
  • Highly collaborative and open to multiple perspectives; working both independently and collaboratively to achieve outcomes
  • Must be able to make independent decisions based on known criteria
  • Proficient PC skills (Excel, Word, Power Point, Adobe Connect, SharePoint, etc.
