Global Finance & Business Management (“GF&BM”) India is a combined Line of Business-aligned (LOB-aligned) finance & business support team located in India and is part of JPMorgan’s global capability center (GCC). We are part of the Office of the CFO (OCFO) organization within JPMorgan, which has 13000+ people across the globe, majority of whom are tasked with managing the firm’s Finance function, responsible for reporting quarterly earnings and complying with regulatory requirements along with managing the firm’s capital.
GF&BM India was established in September 2002 and currently we have a network of more than 3400+ professionals based out of our Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad offices who support four main “pillars” of work – Controllers, Planning & Analysis, Finance Operations and Business Client & Products. The teams in India are aligned to the respective LOBs that they support which include Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB), Commercial Banking (CB), Consumer and Community Banking (CCB), Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) and Corporate/Firmwide functions. The current opening is within the CB Controllers team in Bangalore which forms part of the Commercial Banking (CB) LOB within GF&BM India.
About the Team
At JPMorgan Chase, Commercial Banking (“CB”) is a top provider of banking services to wholesale clients from small businesses to large, complex businesses with domestic and international needs. CB is comprised of Corporate Client Banking & Specialized Industries (CCBSI), Middle Market Banking & Specialized Industries (MMBSI), Real Estate Banking, Commercial Term Lending and Community Development Banking. Commercial Banking is making significant investments across our business to improve how we interact with our clients in every way.
The Associate will join the CB Controllers team supporting the transformation efforts in this organization.
About the Role
Primary Responsibilities:
- Build Alteryx and UI Path workflows to support automation and build efficiencies
- Query, analyze and transform complex data sets to optimize reporting flexibility and performance
- Build and support Tableau dashboards to deliver information and data in ways that help drive the business and create efficiencies
- Interface with business managers and technology teams to design, develop, deploy and enhance Tableau dashboards
- Demonstrable experience as a Robotic Process Automation Developer using Robotic technologies, particularly with UiPath
- Design and develop scalable solutions integrating multiple technologies/platforms.
- Ensure all automation and reporting is in line with best practices, principals and standards defined by Banking Analytics team and complies with the spirit of the firm’s overall data control standards
- Ensure the dashboards delivered of best quality and build a process around it.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- B.E/B. Tech/MCA (from reputed college)
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science.
- Hands-on experience in Tableau
- Data manipulation experience using Alteryx
- Experience in building and managing UI Path workflows
- Advanced Excel knowledge & Python will be a plus
- Relevant experience ranging between 6-8 years in the finance domain
- Curious, energetic, and highly proactive in nature and always focusing on opportunity arising from situations
- Execution and project management skills – Well-developed organizational skills to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Communications skills – Must possess strong verbal and written communications skills, a keen business acumen and the ability to synthesize “the story”
- Problem solving skills – Strong problem solving, and analytical capabilities coupled with the ability to identify issues, gather and manipulate data, obtain consensus and support implementing change
Shift Timing: EMEA (1.30pm to 10.30pm)
