Primary responsibilities for this role include –
- Hands on experience in design and development of advanced analytics dashboards using Tableau/Alteryx/SQL
- Expertise creating custom charts and merge multiple data sources within a dashboard.
- Experience connecting Tableau to live and extract data including cloud data.
- Experience setting up data security within dashboard and object security at folder or dashboard level
- Experience converting ideas into mockups and presenting it to the stakeholders.
- Thoroughly test dashboards for functionality, data and performance issues
- Implement best industry standard and practices while creating stunning visuals for better user experience.
- Hands on experience to write, understand, debugging of SQL codes (for Oracle, MSSQL or any other database) and Alteryx workflows
- Performance tuning expertise at database level for long running SQL queries
- Proactively look to develop and implement best practices across the entire project team, practicing continuous process improvement.
- Collaborate with the Business Stakeholders, Operations and Technology partners around the world.
- Project experience which includes development, project estimation, requirement gathering, issue resolution, configuration, go live assistance and post implementation support.
- Responsible for root cause analysis and providing solutions for production and development issues
- Agile development experience with SCRUM
- Proven ability to collaborate with global teams
- Knowledge on AWS or any other cloud adoption would be good to have
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or an equivalent combination of education and/or business experience
- 5+ Years of experience in business analysis or business application design and development role
- 5+ Years of experience with Tableau, SQL, Python, Alteryx or another programming language
- Good understanding of operations within banking industry; preferably with knowledge of payment processing.
- Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Extensive knowledge of database design and relational database principles, prior experience with large scale data warehouse is a plus
- Working knowledge with Business Intelligence tools (Tableau, Business Objects)
- Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Polished written and verbal communication skills; confidence in communicating internally at all levels; demonstrated ability to clearly define and articulate business requirements, and to bridge the gap between business and technology, ability to summarize findings into concise high level points geared towards the audience and visually depict key data and findings
- Proactive, self-motivated and flexible with a positive attitude; efficient at multi-tasking and able to work independently under pressure to deliver business demands on-time, to a high-level standard
- Excellent team-working skills, ability to develop and maintain strong relationship with team members, peers, and internal and external management; contributing beyond core role and responsibilities
- Excellent analytical/problem-solving skills with the ability to provide sound recommendations to management
- Working knowledge of Qliksense will be added advantage
