Department Description

Cash Account Management provides a portfolio of 7 services that help optimize the use of the firm’s liquidity and minimize risk across the firm’s own Cash Accounts (Nostros).

Cash Account Management partner with Treasury CIO, Reconciliations Unit, Network Management, Cash Asset Class Controllers and CIB Technology to deliver the Cash Account Platform.

  • The Cash Account Platform is the end-to-end environment (people, processes, technology) that provides effective management of the firm’s cash asset.
  • This program is one of D&PS 24 main Strategic Objectives
  • We are a team of over 190 employees operating in Bengaluru, Bournemouth, Frankfurt, Manila, Mumbai, New York, and Tampa.
  • We manage a daily cash flow of over $2 trillion, provide global service coverage across 55 currencies and 62 legal entities and support 85% of total firm wide value processed each day.

Job Description

The successful candidate will join the Cash Account Registry Service team which is focused on delivering the end-to-end lifecycle of Registering accounts into our platform, ATLAS. The role will require partnering with all lines of business across the bank to ensure their Nostro accounts are accurately reflected in our platform and then oversee the ongoing maintenance of the accounts once registered. This role provides an outstanding opportunity at JPMorgan Chase for the selected candidate to join a high-profile team and take a partnership role, supporting one of the Bank’s most significant operational programs.

Key roles and responsibilities

Working within the Cash Account Registry Operations team, contributing towards the following:

  • Processing of Account Opening, Closing and Amendment requests through our platform ATLAS.
  • Proactively identify areas for improving process quality, control, and productivity.

  • Well-motivated and enthusiastic, ability to work as a team player
  • Good communication skills and ability to develop good relationships with internal and external parties.
  • Ensure awareness of and compliance with relevant policies, controls, regulations, and escalation protocols
  • Proactively identify areas for improving process quality, control, and productivity.
  • Take accountability for furthering experience on digital ops tools leveraging the Firm’s online and classroom training
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong practical experience of Microsoft Excel (metrics and data analysis), Word, etc.
  • Basic understanding of the company’s business practices and familiarity with the company’s products and services
  • Understanding and experience of Data Governance principles would be advantageous
