Job Location: Chicago, IL
This role is expected to launch new data solutions, test their performance, iterate quickly and devise flexible, yet sustainable delivery methods. The ability to break down complex problems into steps that drive solution development is a must. In addition to leading specific solutions, the role will also drive the data analysis and validation required to inform the strategy, design and implementation of new, related content sets and capabilities. Therefore, the ideal candidate will have superior data analysis skills and the ability to articulate themes and to formulate recommendations. Communication is a key aspect of the role, as the Analytics Solutions Director will collaborate heavily with a variety of senior product, data, technology and business stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills combined with a commercial mindset
- 10+ years in financial services or consulting with significant Business Intelligence experience and extensive technical skills in the analysis, evaluation and interpretation of data
- Experience managing day-to-day technical and design direction of analytical products, dashboards and other tools
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to multiple levels of management, both written and verbal
- Ability to focus on the key issues and drive initiatives to conclusion
- Strong relationship management skills
- Proven experience managing and developing people
- A passion for data and technology are a must
- Prior B2B client-facing experience in banking is a strong plus
