Job Location: Plano, TX
Qualified candidates should possess a deep understanding of machine learning and data science workflow, software engineering for high volume, high traffic environments and program management-with a product centric mindset. We are looking for someone who has a deep love for engineering and is obsessed with shipping products that delight users.
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
- 10+ years’ experience in software engineering or technical product management
- 7+ experience practicing agile methodology for product development
- Deep understanding of machine learning and data science principles-with a strong understanding of running machine learning solutions in a real production environment-machine learning operations (MLOps)
- At least 5+ years hands-on experience in machine learning/AI solutions development
- Ability to drive complex projects with multiple stakeholders; conceive and drive new initiatives and manifest working products
- A relentless customer focus mindset and striving to improve user-experience by leveraging data and metrics
- Proven history of collaboration, openness, integrity, and timely decision making
- Ability to convey complex concept and ideas in a clear and concise manner to a wide range of audience
- Some experience in designing data products and well-versed and in data management concepts
- Familiarity with cloud and hybrid cloud architecture’s-and containerization (docker, kubernetes, etc.)
- Must have experience in devops/automation and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience in technology infrastructure asset management and or IOT, telemetry & observability is a plus
- Open source contribution experience a big plus
- BS in mathematics or computer science, or related field and/or experience. Graduate degree preferred
You responsibilities will include:
- Be the primary driver for identifying opportunities and driving product vision, strategies and roadmaps in the context of broader org goals-and execute on them
- Lead a team to develop and deploy production grade real-time/batch machine learning services that unlock new efficiencies and improve service level quality
- Define standards and implement automation to curate and monitor data quality
- Collaborate with internal partners to define and collect necessary data telemetry to enable automation of wholesale compute supply chain
- Work with one or more development team on large scope projects across the entire product lifecycle, actively participate in team ceremonies including stands-ups, story refinements, team retrospectives to align team towards a clear vision of next steps and priorities.
- Work as a champion and evangelist for our data journey into creating a mature ecosystem of data products that other teams can leverage
- Influence and help foster our data science community to bring best practices and mature our ML Ops capabilities and practice.
