You will work with stakeholders across the organization to support and optimize our marketing strategy based on what is important to our clients. You will have the opportunity to develop and apply a variety of machine learning and predictive algorithms and influence the long-term evolution of our data science roadmap. You will need to be entrepreneurial, able to deal with ambiguity and work in a highly collaborative environment. You will identify specific and actionable opportunities to solve business problems and collaborate with multiple marketing teams to drive change. You need to be a sophisticated user of advanced quantitative techniques and data visualization, and an expert at synthesizing and communicating insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences. You will also focus on exploring and prioritizing experimentation hypothesis, personalization and use-cases that could drive valuable insights.
More responsibilities:
- Have a unique combination of technical skills, storytelling ability, and intuition to understand what is happening to data from inception to model to business decision.
- Onboard and leverage machine learning models and techniques to target opportunities and optimize processes.
- Analyze client data to identify segments in order to enable look-a-like audience comparisons based on expected performance and engagement.
- Design and implement highly scalable and reliable data processing pipelines and perform analyses to drive and optimize business results
- Analyze drivers of marketing performance to understand the relative impact of opportunities, behaviors, and effectiveness on acquisition and deepening outcomes.
- Overlaying client and channel behaviors to determine how to drive personalization, optimize engagement and identify opportunities for cross-sell and upsell.
- Design, execute, and measure the results of large-scale experiments in partnership with marketing, product and sales teams.
- Partner closely with the business, analytics and technology teams to scale programs.
- Support the aligned Data & Analytics lead for their products by identifying data required to be integrated into analytics platforms to support projects such as analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years’ experience working as a Data Scientist
- Experience applying various machine learning techniques and understanding the key parameters that affect their performance
- Predictive modeling/analytics and algorithm development Expertise required
- Data scripting languages (e.g. SQL, Python, R etc.) or statistical/mathematical software (e.g. R, SAS, or Matlab) expertise required
- Experienced in using multiple data science methodologies to solve complex business problems
- Experience leading, analyzing and interpreting experiments for business use cases
- Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills, ability to convey complicated mathematical concepts, algorithms and data structures simply with an ability to influence business partners
