Asset Management India Client & Product teams covers functions that spans across the entire lifecycle of a client. Starting with Sales & Marketing, the group includes functions like Sales support, Product Strategy, Market Insight, Data Management & Governance, Data Delivery & Solutions and Business Intelligence & Analytics. The Product teams, comprising of Research analysts, Investment Specialists (IS) and Portfolio Management teams are responsible for providing additional insights to our securities coverage universe, strategy design, commercializing and monetizing our strategies. The Client Service group caters to functions like RFP, Onboarding, KYC, Client Reporting and Fund level Governance oversight functions involving Product administration, Board management, Funds registration, TA Service Delivery, Product implementation and vendor management services.

The current opening is for Healthcare Research support team in Mumbai which forms part of the Global Equities group within AM India Client and Product.
About the Role
The role of a Research Associate in JPMAM’s Equity Research Department would be to support the Senior Research Analyst in performing wide range of Research projects. The Associates would also be required to assist the Analysts in preparing company review materials (including updating models) and valuation metrics.
Responsibilities Include:
- Update, build and maintain company models and other periodicals in a timely manner.
- Understand the dynamics of how JPM’s stock selection model works.
- Familiarize with available Market Databases like BBG and Factset.
- Attend management meetings/post earnings call and synthesize relevant information.
- Assume end-to-end responsibility for projects and presentations
- Become familiar with the contents of SEC filings (10Ks, 10Qs, etc).
Skill Sets required:
- Proficiency with MS Office applications, particularly Excel is a must
- 1-6 yrs of Work Experience in Equity Research and/or Financial modelling
- Should have the tact to deal with more than 1 analyst at a time and flexible to work longer hours when required
- Should possess the ability to analyse Financial Statements and understand the relationship between them.
- Functional knowledge of the pharma/medtech and commodities sector is preferable but not mandatory.
