Position Summary

The Racial Equity Commitment Analytics Solutions Manager will help lead the development, management, and maintenance of the data infrastructure to support the firm’s $30 Billion Racial Equity Commitment (REC) for firmwide reporting across all lines of business.

The role requires a strong technical and analytical background with a focus on reconciliation and analysis between multiple data sources. Interaction between Community Impact, Finance, Information Technology, and other groups are required to ensure modifications to the infrastructure fully meet business requirements.

Specific Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will work closely with:

  • Business users and analysts to understand requirements and functional needs.
    • Ability to translate business requirements into prototype solutions for new/enhancement requests, with appropriate standards.
    • Provide a high level of responsiveness to ad-hoc requests, “what-if” scenario data analytics, and regulatory inquiries.
    • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
  • Technical leads to develop project plans and estimates.
    • Utilize project management best practices to track book of work priorities, communicate updates, and manage projects to successful completion; explain data concepts & challenges clearly to non-technical stakeholders
    • Help facilitate sprint planning to drive alignment and visibility for which features will be built when, and to ensure overall adherence to the product roadmap and enterprise strategic themes.
  • IT to migrate to production the developed solutions.
    • Help maintain the team software backlog of features and user stories and assist in determining sprint priorities aligned to larger experience journey priorities and vision with the ESG strategy.
  • Business end-users and IT during the UAT phase of the project.
    • Validate that production results comply with business requirements and expected results.

Qualifications

This position requires a minimum of 7-10 years of relevant Business Intelligence experience coupled with experience in an analytics and solutions development, planning and analysis, controller or business/risk analytics-related role.

  • Must have expert-level ability in SQL query writing.
  • Must have expert-level, demonstrated knowledge of Excel including but not limited to Pivot, Vlookup, etc.
  • Must have demonstrated knowledge of one or more data & business intelligence concepts including ETL, Data Modeling, Reporting Automation, and/or Dashboarding using tools such as Alteryx and/or Tableau.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of data warehousing concepts and exposure to one or more Business Intelligence toolsets and database platforms: Oracle/SQL Server/Teradata.
  • Proven experience delivering timely, high quality, analysis from diverse, complex data sources. Attention to detail a must.
  • Team player; Excellent communication, project management, and client partnership ability
  • Self-starter; demonstrated ability to complete assigned tasks independently with minimum supervision.
  • Big Data/Tableau experience a plus.
  • Finance/Accounting environment experience a plus
  • Experience working in or alongside Technology in an Agile environment to deliver strategic infrastructure
