Job Location: Bangalore
The Global Know Your Customer (KYC) Quality Assurance (QA) team is in place to support the Firm in implementing and sustaining AML/KYC firm wide standards across all business segments. The Quality Assurance team supports the review of activities performed by several Line of Business (LOB) teams that support the firm’s Global AML/KYC Program with the primary focus placed on review and analysis of KYC records.
The Business Analysis Associate will be responsible for supporting the Global KYC QA team in various tasks, including application development and maintenance, technology support, data analysis, metrics and reporting generation, user acceptance testing, stakeholder management, and collaborating on a wide range of projects and initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Perform ongoing application development and support for KYC QA applications and tools
- Build Alteryx workflows to support data analytics
- Identify and contribute to improvement initiatives to enhance existing and new processes
- Develop business requirements for existing and new processes when enhancements are required
- Perform ongoing User Acceptance Testing on enhancements to KYC QA applications and tools
- Subject Matter Expert on all KYC QA application and tools
- Conduct analysis on data to produce specialized metrics and reporting
- SharePoint/Shared Drive oversight and maintenance
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to review current data feeds, application enhancements, and additional projects
- Partner with the Global KYC QA team to ensure consistency with the Global QA framework and governance approach
- Review and evaluate manual processes aligned to existing KYC QA applications and processes and identify automation opportunities
- Provide program management support, including providing training on key applications and tools
- Effectively communicate with key points of contact to ensure the fluid sharing of information and feedback across pertinent teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or equivalent work experience
- 7-10 years of experience within the Financial Services industry; AML/KYC knowledge, application support, and/or project management background preferred
- Strong research, analytical, and comprehension skills, with ability to analyze large amounts of data
- Working knowledge of one or more general purpose programming languages
- Demonstrated ability to raise issues or information to relevant stakeholders or management with respect to the control environment and to present the issue or information in a concise and effective manner
- Strong stakeholder engagement, including ability to connect business and IT stakeholders in a clear and efficient manner
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence others for results
- Strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to effectively facilitate problem resolution
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Advanced knowledge of application development
- Must have outstanding attention to detail and experience in providing innovative and proactive solutions
- Must have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel including use of formulas, macros, and VBA knowledge
- Must have advanced skills in Alteryx
- Advance skills in Microsoft Office and Microsoft SharePoint
- Advance skills in data analytics, metrics, and reporting preferred
- Experience in Tableau and/or Qliksense preferred
