Job Location: Poona

Some of the things that you can look forward to doing once you are here are:

  • Partner with stakeholders (in the US and India) to identify, refine, scope, prioritize high value features for the team.
  • Work with multiple tribes, squads, and analysts on running discovery sprints for providing clarity to high-risk & ambiguous items.
  • Own the design, validation, and delivery of specific high-impact, high-risk items in the roadmap.
  • Work towards defining and tracking key product metrics for showcasing the impact of delivered features.
  • Help identify, define, run and measure A/B experiments within the tribe and squads.
  • Run Agile rituals like Feature elaboration/Estimation, release planning, Iteration Planning
  • Meeting, Showcase, etc in partnership with Iteration Managers / Delivery Managers.
  • Work with Product team members to help maintain a healthy and well-articulated Product Backlog.
  • Ensure that Product artifacts, knowledge repository, KPIs, metrics are well organized, up to-date and easily accessible by all.
  • Help in building a culture of excellence in Product (and value) based thinking.
  • Evangelize modern & lean Product practices within the organization.
  • Coach, train and mentor analysts and team members to improve the maturity and value of the product practices within the team.
  • Manage day-to-day communication with product, delivery and program management within the organization.
  • In partnership with Iteration/Delivery managers, keep key stakeholders informed about
  • progress and potential risk with relevant metrics and reporting.
  • Have a relentless focus on customer and client value, balancing short term with long term.

Requirements:

  • Understanding of infrastructure lifecycle; ability to adjust and apply this knowledge in a dynamic environment using agile methodologies.
  • Experience in cloud services from scratch and scaling to handle large traffic volumes, particularly developing products using AWS platform.
  • Knowledge of at least some of the areas in big data technologies, Analytics, ML/AI at petabyte scale, public cloud services and cloud native architectures. Prefer experience in one or more of following: Big Data (Hadoop or similar distributed architecture, Spark, Athena etc), Data Quality and Governance (Access control, Lineage, Master data Management, Security, Privacy), Data Discoverability, Observability.
  • Knowledge of lean product principles with platform product experience and software development life cycles in data and analytics domain. Proven experience in building data products to solve critical business problems
  • Define and lead the vision and strategy for Data Platform, provide thought leadership in identifying critical customer requirements, understand the business goal, define product end state, and work with development teams in designing optimal experience
  • Ability to understand technical workflows, integrations, APIs and translate business / user requirements to stories
  • Develop and own one or more areas of roadmap. Ensure we have a robust data storage system, feature rich ETL pipelines with self-serve capabilities to leverage the data in the data lake for consumption.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Education:Bachelor-Master degree
  • Proficient in English language.
  • 10+ years of experience working with Agile (preferably product) teams as a Business Analyst / Product Owner.
  • Demonstrating strong knowledge of and background with Agile & Product Management
  • concepts – like Dual-track agile, MVP, A/B Testing, Story Map, Service Design,
  • Prioritization Techniques, Road-mapping, Platform thinking, Product-mode over Project mode, etc.
  • Experience collaborating closely with product, engineering, client and UX teams

  • Having some background or coursework in Computer Science
  • Relevant experience in a product organization
  • Relevant experience in travel domain or customer loyalty space
  • Relevant experience in data-backed decision making/statistics/market research
