Job Location: Jersey City, NJ
You will be based in Jersey City or NY Metro in a new team to build a set of products that enables firm wide, end to end ML lifecycle management & governance through data and automation . These capabilities are critical to the new enterprise scaled ML platform in JPMC. You will be working with our highly skilled system architects, engineers, product managers, data scientists, researchers and colleagues across all lines of businesses and functions.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
You will be working on several new products in ML Lifecycle Management & Governance team including AI/ML business and technical inventory, model repository/registry, feature registry to deliver better user experience for data scientists and MLOPS as well as business leaders and control groups.
As a full stack developer in the team, you will develop these new products leveraging cloud technologies and microservices architecture patterns. You will be an active learner, identifying new open source libraries, using unfamiliar technologies and learning new programming languages to meet technical requirements.
In teams, you will work with system architects and contribute to the architecture across the technology stack from database to native apps. You will create rapid prototypes as well as full-scale applications, by working collaboratively and iteratively through design and development to deliver fully-functional applications that meet business goals.
You will be a senior member of the team with responsibilities that range from shaping and implementing strategic technology products to ensuring that JPMC stays on the leading edge of technology.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related fields, mathematics and statistics proficiency is a plus.
- 4+ years of experience as a hands-on technical individual contributor on software development projects
- Experience in modern architecture patterns (e.g. microservices, reactive architectures, event-driven architectures)
- 3+ years of experience building scalable applications using Python, or some comparable languages like Java, or NodeJS etc.
- Experience working with HTML/ CSS and at least 1 modern JavaScript framework such as React.js, Vue.js, Hapi.js, Ember.js, Angular.js
- Experience in writing and utilizing RESTful API services and performance tuning large scale applications
- Experience with cloud providers (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MongoDB, CouchDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, etc.)
- Expert in data modeling, ETL design, data lineage management and data governance for both traditional SQL and Big Data infrastructure
- Experience in engineering practices such as code refactoring, design patterns, design-driven development, TDD, CI/CD, building highly scalable applications, application security
- Expertise in large-scale enterprise architecture and cloud-based (e.g., e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP) solutions
- Ability to interact with people at all levels in an organization
- Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
- Passion for growing your skills, tackling interesting work and challenging problems
- Experience/Knowledge of model governance, data governance is a plus
