The Speech2Text team builds realtime and ETL analytics and works very closely with client facing application teams and research groups to enhance business results. We have a strong track record of delivering advanced capabilities to our clients and are looking to onboard new, talented team members to help accelerate our success.

Generally Required:
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages, namely Python and Java
- Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
- Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
- Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices across Machine Learning, Data Movement, Security
- Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
- Passionate about building an innovative culture
- Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement
- Ability to see the road ahead and design reusable code
- 3-5+ years professional experience
Speech ETL Engineering Role Specifics
- Responsible for building and automating the batch transcription and API framework
- Build high performance ETL pipelines using Airflow, Python, AWS Lambda
- Build GKP/EKS run spaces that support batch streaming endpoints like AWS Transcribe, AWS Translate, AWS Comprehend, AWS Recognize
- Build metrics that provide telemetry to each step of the process
- Build operational dashboards in Splunk, Datadog, and Cloudwatch to provide transparency and alerting to the stack
- Onboard new clients seamlessly; expand the platform to multiple, global regions

- Lead client engagements; work closely with clients to gather requirements; evolve requirements flexibly as client needs evolve
