As a Data Engineering Developer, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing strategic data platform to support product development of market differentiating capabilities for the JPM Wealth Management business. The position is ideal for an individual who have proven track records in software design and programming, data modeling, Big Data technology and modern engineering practices. You will also have close collaboration with technical partners across the organizations, navigating complexity to provide optimal, scalable, and resilient end to end platform solutions.
Require Skills
- 6 to 10 years of overall IT Experience
- Core Skills
- Strong hands on working experience of Big Data stack including PySpark and Core Java
- Good understanding on RDMS database and Linux/UNIX .
- Take ownership of business-critical and complex applications.
- Strong knowledge of multi-threading and high volume batch processing.
- Able to design Big data batch and real time data services.
- Should be good in performance tuning skills in Pyspark.
- Should have experience on AWS platform.
- Hands experience on Agile and CI-CD process.
- Prefer skills
- Experience on reporting service implemented on Big database.
- Experience on Autosys or Control-M scheduler.
- Prefer experience on Kafka , Kinesis, and Streaming real time data.
- Experience on Python data libraries.
- Domain
- BFSI (Banking Finance Service and Insurance) experience preferred
- Should be able to translate business requirements into high level design, detail technical design and implementation.
- Soft Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactively identify and communicate issues leveraging standard monitoring and alerting tools, and work to resolve issues liaising with 3rd party resolver teams as necessary.
- A good listener and should articulate ideas in writing and verbally to any audience in a way where these are understood and achieve the goals intended with that communication
- Have ability to work effectively with teams/people having different skill sets, personalities, work styles, or motivation level
- Readiness to work 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM IST to provide for overlap with US teams
