Description – We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Business Analyst to join JPMorgan’s ground-breaking and innovative Onyx technology team focused on utilizing BlockChain secured financial transactions as a backbone to build an advanced ecosystem with ubiquitous access to infrastructure, collaboration networks, and services to solve the world’s most important commercial challenges at scale. As a Business Analyst of the Onyx technology team, you will be the bridge between product teams and the technology teams.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Write and create detailed business and functional requirements.
- Define detailed user stories and acceptance criteria
- Liaise with Product teams, QA and UAT teams
- Evaluate and collaborate on various options with effective comparative analysis for chosen solutions
- Research and innovate the best practices for the Business Analysis
- Provide demonstrations and functional requirement walk-throughs
- Create functional and non-functional use cases for every integrations solution
Required Skills
- 6+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst in large and complex distributed computing environments
- Ability to write and create detailed business and functional requirements. This includes the ability to define detailed user stories and acceptance criteria
- Drive creation of detailed functional specifications with AS-IS process flows and target state processes
- Should be detail oriented, with excellent analytical , written , communication and presentation skills
- Experience in Banking and Financial Services industry. Exposure to core banking / payment transformation initiatives, like SWIFT GPI, ISO 20022, Real Time Payments etc. is desirable
- Good understanding BlockChain implementations and latest trends
- Manage the documentation review and approval process with the stakeholders and keep them up-to-date
- Ability to liaise between business and the development team, while working with a wide range of stakeholders and collaborating with the team
- Experience obtaining requirements from business users and subject matter experts, reviewing business priorities, and/or analyzing options & risk
- Pro-actively lead/participate in design/solution architecting of target state
- Provide functional support throughout the project lifecycle, from requirements/functional specs to reviewing SIT and UAT test cases, and supporting all the testing phases
- Knowledge of software development life cycle in agile methodology
