The Analyst, Marketing Technology is expected to draw heavily on their independent technology and analytical expertise, data extract, transform and load (ETL) fluency, data analytics and visualization knowledge, and an understanding of information systems fundamentals to successfully complete their tasks in a timely manner. They are responsible for the execution of various procedures in accordance with the department service catalog, while working closely with the Marketing Data & Analytics team, channel managers, trade desk, and third party vendors in increasing levels of independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with channel management, trade desk, and analytics teams on all accounts in order to measure and report on all digital campaign initiatives.
  • Resolve to track and report reporting and performance discrepancies to stakeholders that may be affected.
  • Maintain, demonstrate, and share Marketing Technology best practices across multiple departments.
  • Take an initiative to research and discover, understand, and develop or onboard Marketing Technology products and processes that can improve campaign performance for clients and share associated learnings with said teams.
  • Help troubleshoot any ad-served or site-served tag related issues that may arise.
  • Convey thought leadership on all requests and processes pertaining to these key responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field required; background in statistics, analytics, business, economics, or marketing preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a data analytics or closely related role required.

Technical Skills and Knowledge:

  • Proficient skills with statistical languages such as SQL, Python, R required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets required.
  • Knowledge of visual reporting tools such as Data Studio or Tableau required.
  • Core understanding of data transfer operations required.
  • Knowledge of HTML and JavaScript preferred.
  • Knowledge of cloud-hosted data warehouses (BigQuery, Redshift) preferred.
  • Familiarity with campaign reporting (Campaign Manager 360, Search Ads 360, Facebook, or LinkedIn) preferred.
  • Understanding of Google Tag Manager preferred.
  • Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Understanding of core machine learning workflows preferred.
