Job Detail:

Job Summary: We are seeking a Business Operations Support professional responsible for supporting a global team that manages various strategic programs for Salesforce’s Global Public Sector business unit, including but not limited to product operations and proposal management.

The Strategic Operations team in the company’s Global Public Sector Business Unit is a growing cross-functional team. We deliver efficient, proactive, and innovative operational processes, standardization and operational execution for new programs/products, and new go-to-market strategies supporting the growth of the Global Public Sector organization.

Duties:

  • Understand and organize business requirements to analyze health of the business, interpret key performance indicators and performance metrics by creating reports and dashboards
  • Coordinate/support/contribute to a prioritized list of process documentation updates
  • Ongoing analysis of business performance to support daily operations
  • Support and triage the intake and processing of RFx support requests for a global RFx team across AMER, APAC, and EMEA regions
  • Conduct preliminary review of RFx documents for key information, requirements, response due dates, and other milestones and validate against Go/No Go criteria, support model, and intake procedures
  • Aid in leading business unit related day-to-day operations

Desired Skills/Experience:

  • 1+ year of experience with building reports/dashboards
  • 1+ year of experience in the technology consulting industry
  • Valuable work experience focused on quantitative analysis and logical reasoning
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point) and Google Suite (Gdocs, Gsheets, Gchat)
  • Experience in a operations support, proposal support, or project support role
  • Self-motivated to excel in a remote position collaborating effectively with a remote team
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task and perform in a fast-paced environment, working with a sense of urgency
  • Self-starter and high degree of motivation to go above and beyond the task at hand
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills to develop solutions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills – both written and verbal
  • Good technical and critical judgment and careful attention to detail
  • Experience with supporting government organizations (preferred)
