Looking to join a sustainable, diversified, family-owned US Best Managed Company? Kent Corporation has an incredible opportunity to join our team as an HRIS/Data Analyst!

The Data analyst, Human Resources Information System (HRIS) role will enhance the performance of our HR technologies and data analytics. In this role, duties will include optimizing the performance of our HR systems, including, system administration, role-based security set-up, processes, workflows, reporting, dashboards, and visualizations to support business decision making. Provide support to end users across all modules and system functionality.


PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Administer HRIS system and all modules it encompasses, including but not limited to: Human Resources, Learning, Recruiting, Onboarding, Benefits, Employee Voice, Compensation, and BI/Reporting.
  • Serve as subject matter expert on system functionality and reporting. Use expertise to help end user experience and organizational optimization of the system.
  • Consult with HR managers and other departments to determine HRIS needs.
  • Analyzing HRIS performance metrics and resolving application issues.
  • Document procedures for key system processes and work.
  • Performing system changes, as well as and providing training and technical support.
  • Develop and implement new process in the system for efficiencies.
  • Performing statistical analysis on gathered HRIS data and running queries.
  • Ensuring the efficient recording and secure storage of HR metrics.
  • Performing audits on HR processes and documents, including hiring, termination of service, and payroll administration, when required.
  • Keeping track of technological advancements and trends in the field of HRIS. Regularly participate in webinars and system update messages from HRIS provider.
  • Ensuring security, end-user access, and data integrity across all HR platforms
  • Supports critical system maintenance and operational tasks within the HRIS.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll management, human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Business or similar.
  • Some formal training in data analysis (classes, certificate, or similar).
  • MBA or Masters in Finance, Data Analytics or similar preferred.

TRAVEL:

  • Approximately 10% – as needed for conferences, meetings, etc.
