RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a BI Engineer (Power BI) in Saint Louis, MO.
Key Tasks:
- BI Engineer will design, build, test, and maintain scalable and stable off the shelf application or custom-built technology solutions to meet business needs
- Interact with business clients & create specifications
- Develop Dashboards & reports
- Perform Data Analytics & data design
- As a BI Engineer, you will bring value to the team
- Finish assign work accurately and on time as tracked in JIRA
- Self-started, purpose driven
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of related experience
- Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Software Development experience
- Power BI/Dashboard experience
- Experience with SQL
- Working knowledge of Business Intelligence Tools, including: MicroStrategy, Business Objects, Cognos, or SAS
- Experience with UNIX and ETL
- Great communication skills/interact with clients and team members
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Healthcare
- Snowflake experience
- Alteryxx
- Analytics experience/ETL experience preferred but not required
- Experience with various databases, including Teradata, Oracle, or SQL Server preferred
