Job Location: Maryland Heights, MO
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Maryland Heights, MO that is seeking a Business/Data Analyst to assist in governing Alteryx licenses and help gather requirements and talk to business units to make decisions on what teams should keep licenses and what teams do not need them. The candidate will be working in the office 3 days a week, work from home 2 days.
Duties Include:
- Business/Data Analyst will collaborate with Business Technology development teams and other business analysts in the planning, prioritization, design, development, and deployment of new projects & system enhancements
- Responsible for understanding business requirements and creating documentation as needed, (i.e., Business requirements documents (BRDs), process flows, business cases, gap analysis (as is vs. to be) documents etc.)
- Conduct data profiling during onboarding of new data to establish baseline and KPIs
- Partner with Data Governance Lead and Business Data Stewards to resolve root cause
- As a Business/Data Analyst, you will maintain an in-depth understanding of business functions, processes, and relationships as it relates to data
- Maintain and improve data integrity and consumption of the data with trust and transparency
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar field
- Relevant data analytics experience
- Strong Business Analyst background
- Nice to have a solid understanding or experience of the Alteryx toolset and best practices
