Responsibilities
A Kforce client is hiring a Junior Power BI Developer in Tampa, Florida (FL). Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for implementing the strategic design and maintenance of business intelligence applications
- Junior Power BI Developer identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems
- Ensures that the use of business intelligence applications enhances business decision-making capabilities
- Develops and implements solutions integrating applications across the enterprise or its units/departments
- Evaluates existing components or systems to determine integration requirements and to ensure final solutions meet organizational needs
- Identifies and integrates related projects or initiatives; Identifies issues in need of remediation and conducts cost-benefit analyses for process changes
- Junior Power BI Developer will build data models and defines the structure, attributes, and nomenclature of data elements in multiple systems
- Develops, implements, monitors metrics to ensure the effectiveness, and efficiency of system implementation
- Create and produce recurring dashboards in support of Finance and Operations utilizing the Power BI platform
- Provide both advisory and analytical support by identifying, developing, documenting, or executing analytics during all relevant stages of an audit
- Performs analyses for difficult-to-define, innovative, and new approaches, functions, or processes with major impact on business intelligence
- Junior Power BI Developer will research, resolves reporting discrepancies, and issues
- Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing and ad-hoc metrics, reports, and analyses, to drive key business decisions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 4+ years of business intelligence application use
- Requires Oracle, Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Suite, and Power BI knowledge
- Proven problem-solving skills, project management skills, and exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to display complex quantitative data in a simple, intuitive format, to present findings in a clear and concise manner
- Articulate, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exposure to business intelligence tools and data visualization
- Ability to think creatively, highly driven, and self-motivated
- Ability to meet critical deadlines in a timely manner
- Strong attention to detail is required
