RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Data Scientist in Windsor Mill, MD.

Duties Include:

  • Senior Data Scientist will manage, architect, and analyze big data in order to build data driven insights and high impact data models
  • Create a value chain to help address the challenges of acquiring data, evaluating its value, distilling & analyzing
  • As a Senior Data Scientist, you will examine data from multiple sources and share insights which provide competitive advantage
  • Contribute to assets/offerings and thought leadership
  • The candidate will provide technical leadership and engineering support for a Task Order using advanced natural language processing techniques, deep learning, and big data analytics

REQUIREMENTS:

  • PhD or Master’s degree +10 years of experience in a domain relevant to Data Science, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing or clinical environment or demonstrated equivalent track record
  • 5+ years of managing entire data science project life cycle and actively involved in all the phases of project life cycle. Active member of R&D team and responsible for productizing best performing models and deploy it in cloud
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with deep learning techniques such as Feedforward Neural Network, Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), Recursive Neural Network (RNN), Long short-term memory (LSTM) for NLP tasks like Text Parsing, Text Summarization, Conversational Systems, Advanced Text Analytics
  • Expertise in Natural Language Understanding (NLU), Natural Language Generation (NLG) and Machine Learning domains
