Job Description

The Data feature Lead is responsible for designing, delivering and supporting enterprise digital master data management (MDM) solutions, to support Kimberly-Clark’s global and enterprise digital master data requirements covering analytical as well as operational MDM solutions.

We are looking for SAP MDG Techno-Functional analyst that build real-world applications on top of our platforms to help us solve our master data domain-specific problems, specifically, Material, Supplier, Customer, Product and Finance.

Data Feature Lead should be effective at linking the architectural vision with the business vision and building solutions that focus on business value and technical excellence; helping K-C to adopt and implement digital solutions.

The Data Feature Lead has responsibility for maintenance of the enterprise digital master data management platforms. S/he is responsible for collaborating with the Solution Architect’s, Kimberly-Clark’s internal business and technology partners (both globally and regionally), and other stakeholders to ensure correct designs and implementations are in place to deliver timely and accurate master data to enterprise decision-making & operational processes.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Build digital Business Technology platforms; designs solutions for an increasingly connected world Develops data solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Solutions are innovative, seek opportunities for automation of tasks, and are consistent with organization objectives Work with the agile development team to help scope and design products for resiliency, redundancy, supportability, and scalability Ensure performance to system architecture, standards and best practices .Strong exposure to SAP MDG implementation life cycle as MDG techno functional consultant and experience with data conversion and data migration design for multiple legacy systems to S4HANA system is required. Design, implement and support the detailed master data components of all analytical (enterprise data warehouse/enterprise BI) as well as enterprise operational projects for master data domains, enterprise hierarchies, master data integration and data quality, etc. Collaborate with project teams and architects on all aspects of MDG architecture (MDG data model, SAP MDM, MD tools, data integration, MD quality, MDM operations, MD security, etc) Deliver per established methodologies for enterprise projects with an Master data component, such as functional requirements, data design , provide input to developers and testing procedures . Regularly interact with leadership on project work status and priority setting. Transfer knowledge to support resources to ensure environment supportability, stability & sustainability. Work with source system, SME’s and business teams to determine which source systems are the best sources (and targets where applicable) of Master Data for the MDM system.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education required / preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field

Experience:

  • 10-15 Years’ experience of Information Technology experience

  • The successful applicant will be a specialist SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) Functional Consultant, with experience in a S4 Hana environment.

  • Must have one or many domain skills like SAP MM, SD or Finance implementation experience
  • Must have strong SAP MDG skills, understand business requirement and convert it into enterprise functional documents and business process docs.
  • Must have strong ABAP OOPs hands-on experience. Must have experience in creating Fiori apps, CDS views and also knows all OOPs concept part of ABAP on HANA.
  • Execution of master data vision and strategy; processes and tools and implementation strategy
  • Drive continuous improvement of data governance and data maintenance processes for implementing countries/entities
  • Develop processes, tools and integration for Master Data Processes to support, including data cleansing and data validation and coming out with all business rules
  • Mapping of Master data and integration from the legacy environment to the target environment
  • Support Business Process Teams in development of Material Master Data Cleansing Activities
  • MDG and Data Migration processes for Material Master including Data Map generation, validation and development, across all Business Process areas.
  • Co-ordinate Data Migration integration with MDG for Material Master across Business Process areas
  • Provide input and support the development of Testing/Training materials and scenarios for MDG Data Objects.
  • Support and provide input to MDG Team Members in the development of the processes for Data Cleansing, Data Migration and MDG integration of MDG Data Objects including Material, Business Partner (Customer, Vendor etc.) and MDG Financial Objects.
  • Co-ordinate and guide Material Master BPO and associated SME’s
  • Provide advice and support for the definition of Data Standards across Master Data Object, as well as input for the planning of the MDG implementation
  • SAP master data integration related experience like CPI, ALE IDOC and other technology.
  • Has participated in large information transformation engagements
  • Experience managing or executing data cleansing, data mapping, and data governance areas, preferably in an SAP environment as well as integration across complex ERP landscapes
  • Knowledge and experience of interfacing SAP with legacy systems
  • Suggest the best practices for the implementation of master data objects.
  • Need to work closely with data architects, Enterprise architects and platform architects
  • Sound knowledge of SAP MM and SD modules.
  • Ability to influence multiple levels on highly technical issues and challenges
  • At ease in establishing senior-level working relationships & communications
  • Ability to work in a virtual team which may work across distance (remote), cultures and time zones, in a matrix with multiple reporting lines, and may extend outside the K-C organization including suppliers, partners and customers

Encompasses development and promotion of the strategy and policies covering the design of information structures and taxonomies, the setting of policies for the sourcing and maintenance of the data content, and the development of policies, procedures, working practices and training to promote compliance with legislation regulating all aspects of holding, use and disclosure of data.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Travel may include approximately 15% of work time. Travel may include travel via aircrafts and motor vehicles to various locations, if applicable. Varying working conditions may include prolonged sitting, typing and viewing computer/laptop screens, along with occasional bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, climbing, twisting, stooping, walking and standing.


Global VISA and Relocation Specifications:

K-C requires that an employee have authorization to work in the country in which the role is based. In the event an applicant does not have current work authorization, K-C will determine, in its sole discretion, whether to sponsor an individual for work authorization. However, based on immigration requirements, not all roles are suitable for sponsorship.

This role is available for local candidates already authorized to work in the role’s country only. K-C will not provide relocation support for this role.
